These were supposed to come with the other prints, but for some reason got seperated! Oh well, they are here now :-)

Really pleased with them, they have come out beautifully! As per the other prints, these will be limited to an edition of just 50 worldwide, and will be each signed and numbered. The size of the total print (including the white border) is 5.6" x 12.1".

The prints are printed on 310 g.s.m acid-free, pure white museum grade paper, for maximum longevity.

Not much progress made so far...

Unfortunately, I've picked up a lovely cold this week which means giving drawing a wide berth! I tend to bend my head down a lot when I'm working on a drawing, which isn't the best position with a head cold!!!

This is an update from some further work I did to this piece on Sunday - you can see the areas I have blocked in, I tend to produce my drawings in three layers, the first is a basic blocking in of light and dark areas. The second layer builds up on this and really defines the areas, and then the final layer is the detail layer. Sometimes I do go to a fourth layer, depending on the complexity of the area - for example on this piece, I will probably do a fourth layer on the beard of the horse, since it's laying over the neck, and will take a lot of building up to get the right tones.

Work in progress

Working on a new original piece, and it's from a slightly different angle, from down below, looking up! Iit's fun working on a piece that is a little bit different - for example, I don't usually get to focus much on the muzzle area, but this is great as there is so much detail to be drawn in and this piece will really draw (pardon the pun!) you to that area.

Here are some work in progress shots, more to follow soon.
